Return & Refund Overview

Our refund and returns policy currently lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your order was delivered, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange, so please contact us immediately if you are dissatisfied with your order and wish to return it. Contact customer support at marissa@designaurelia.com to initiate a return, and we will provide you with a return shipping label. Please use the same packaging the order was shipped in, and cover the old shipping label with the return label.

During the 15 days following the date of delivery, we offer no hassle, no questions asked returns for any reason. Buyers must pay for the return shipping. The shipping carrier must receive the return package by the 15th day following the delivery date to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs will be deducted from the total return amount, in most cases.

Manufacturer Error & Quality Issues

If the reason for the return involves manufacturer error, or if the quality of the product is significantly inadequate, you will receive a full refund, including shipping costs. In such cases, please provide as many photos as possible to clearly show the issue with the item. If we can determine from the photos that the issue is an error or quality related issue, we may determine it unnecessary to return the item. In such cases, and depending on customer preference, we may arrange for a replacement product to be sent, or we may elect to provide a full refund immediately. It is important to contact customer support immediately with this type of complaint. After 15 days post-delivery, all sales are final.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, with tags attached (if applicable.)

Exemptions

Some items are non-returnable. Sales are final on the following items:

  • Gift cards
  • Personalized, customized and special request items
  • Bathing suits
  • Underwear
  • Greeting cards
  • Holiday decorations

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is postmarked more than 15 days after delivery

Return Inspection

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Defects/Damages

If your order is defective or damaged when you receive it, or if you receive the wrong item or you are missing items from your order, please send us a message right away. Send as many photos as necessary to clearly show the issue, and we will arrange for the correct item to be sent. Please email marissa@designaurelia.com immediately so we can get the issue resolved. If more than 15 days have passed since the date of delivery, we will be unable to help.

You must cover return shipping costs at this time. When calculating your refund amount, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
